I cycled the seventeen miles over to the old supermarket with the trailer to pick up some alcohol and maybe some other interesting things that might be lying around. The road was still clear but snow was starting to fall so I had to be quick.

It had been 6 months since I'd last been to visit. I remembered in August when the doorway was blocked with branches and leaves. I had cut through an obstructing bit of branch and the automatic doors had come to life and slid open for me.

The vegetable aisle had been beautiful; the mixture of the sun coming in through the open roof, with the long-ago rotten fruits and vegetables, had led to a particularly fertile and tree filled area of the hall.

I made a mental note to myself to come more regularly and keep the entrance clear for other people who might be passing and want to get inside.
